Abstract

This researchaims mainly at determining the level of knowledge and practices of the female respondents in the field of clean milk production in the two governorates of the study, and the significance of the differences in the average knowledge and practices of the respondents in the field of production of clean milk when classified on the basis of the two governorates of the study.
The two governorates of Al Menoufia and Luxor were have been chosen as a field to conduct the research. A town was chosen from each governorate and two villages were chosen from each twon and applying krespy and Morgan coefficient the total sample reached 295 respondents who were chosen randomly from the studid four villages. Appropriate statistical analysis methods were used to analyse the data.
The results of the research are summarized as follows:
-The majority of the respondents in the governorate of Menoufia have high level of knowledge about clean milk production while the level of knowledge was low for respondents in Luxor governorate.
- About three quarters of the respondents in Menoufia and Luxor governorate have high,and low level of practice in the field of clean milk production, respectively.
- There are significant differences between the two study governorates with regard to the degrees of knowledge and practices of the respondents in the field of producing clean milk for the benefit of the respondents in Menoufia Governorate.
