Abstract

The research relied on the linear programming method in solving problems related to the optimal distribution of the quantity of Egyptian exports of citrus during the period (2017-2020). By applying the programming model, which included the 20 most important Egyptian orange importing countries, it was found that the exported quantities increased from most of the following countries (Russia - Holland - UAE - Bangladesh - India - Ukraine - Malaysia), where the value of the proposed model's exports was about 679.478 million dollars, more than its actual counterpart. About 125.721 million dollars. As for the Egyptian tangerine, it was shown that the exported quantities increased in each of the following countries (the Russian Federation – the Netherlands – Lithuania – Hong Kong – China, Malaysia, Slovenia, France, Australia) where the value of the proposed model’s exports amounted to about 68.218 million dollar, more than its counterpart in Actual about 13.067 million dollars, as for lemon, the value of the exports of the proposed model amounted to about 42.319 million dollars, which is more than its actual counterpart by about 10.207 million dollars.
