Abstract

The agricultural sector, both plant and animal, is a mainstay in the national economic structure. The development of fish production in Egypt is one of the pillars of providing food to the Egyptian citizen. Fish farms obtaining fish. Its production is about 1632 thousand tons, which represents about 80% of the total fish production.
The research aims to use of fish economic resources used in fish production in fish farms, with the aim of rationalizing the use of these resources and reducing production costs. The results of the research sample that the coefficient of economic efficiency of the feed element used in feeding fish fry is less than the correct one for the farms of the first and second holding categories, which indicates the existence of wasteful use of this element, which requires the need to rationalize the use of this resource within these two categories, while the coefficient of economic efficiency The element of the number of fry used in fish production exceeds the correct one, within the first and second categories, which requires an increase in the quantities used from this resource, which reflects the achievement of economic efficiency and increased incomes of producers, and for the measures of economic efficiency of fish production farms, the general average of the return of the invested pound has reached About 26.01%, and the general average for the product’s profit margin was about 20.15%, and the general average for profit The relative liveness is about 61.64%, during the 2020 production season.
