The Role of Civil Society Associations in Sherkia Governorate in Achieving The Goal of Environmental Sustainability For Egypt's Vision 2030

Abstract

The research aimed to determine the degree of knowledge of the respondents about the activities carried out by civil society organizations in achieving environmental sustainability, as Results well as the degree of carrying out these activities, the level of benefit from them, and identifying the obstacles that limit civil society organizations from carrying out their role, and proposals to overcome them.was conducted in Sharkia Governorate on a sample of members of some civil society organizations in the centers of Mashtoul AlSouq and Belbeis on a sample of 200 respondents, during March, 
April 2024.
1) The level of knowledge of the respondents about the activities carried out by civil society organizations increased by 85%.
2) That two-thirds of the respondents (66.5%) fall into the intermediate level category for carrying out civil society 
organizations' activities.
3) That more than half of the respondents (54%) have an intermediate level of benefit from the activities carried out by civil society organizations in achieving environmental sustainability in general.
4) There is an inverse correlation between income and the degree of knowledge of the activities carried out by civil society organizations in achieving environmental sustainability in general.
5) There is a significant relationship between the educational status, the practical status and the level of civil society organizations’ implementation of the activities they undertake to achieve environmental sustainability in general.

7) important proposals Work on increasing government financial allocations for civil society organizations
